Andrew Munday is a seasoned entrepreneur and operational visionary, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder at Local Kitchens. In August 2020, Andrew co-founded Local Kitchens, a groundbreaking venture aimed at empowering local restaurants to expand their reach. Under his leadership, Local Kitchens has become a driving force in revolutionizing the future of restaurants. Through innovative strategies and a commitment to community, Local Kitchens not only feeds local residents but also provides employment opportunities, strengthening the social fabric.
Prior to his role at Local Kitchens, Andrew played a pivotal role in shaping the growth of the food delivery industry. As the first employee at DoorDash, he served as the Director of Operations. His responsibilities spanned supply acquisition and retention, customer support, insurance, legal matters, and more. Andrew's time at DoorDash marked a period of immense learning and growth, contributing significantly to the company's success.
Andrew's journey in the food industry began as a delivery driver at Village Host Pizza & Grill from 2002 to 2004, where he started as a dishwasher and worked his way up. This early experience instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by local restaurants.
